A unique Champagne, caviar and food pairing opportunity
Philipponnat’s Clos des Goisses numbers among Champagne’s greatest wines. First bottled as a vineyard-designated wine in 1935, inspired by Burgundy, this steep, south-facing vineyard is one of Champagne's ripest terroirs and produces a wine of incredible plenitude, longevity and gastronomic potential. This masterclass, presented by William Kelley and François Philipponnat, explores different expressions of Clos des Goisses in a series of reference-point vintages, and charts the cuvée’s evolution over time.
A special Oona Caviar and hors d'oeuvres pairing will be crafted by chef David Klocksin from Restaurant Wöschi, 1 star in the MICHELIN Guide

An iconic Pinot Noir tasting with a reflection on climatic challenges
Spring frosts, delayed blossoming, hot summers with hailstorms and drought, a tiny harvest somewhere between Indian summer and snowfall: nature has demanded a lot from Martha and Daniel Gantenbein in recent years. After all, they have only been producing one red wine for over 40 years: the Gantenbein Pinot Noir from Fläsch, Graubünden, which has long since become an international icon. But no matter what the vintage, there is no choice. The light blue label with the handwritten name simply has to deliver a top-class Pinot without exception, expectations are too high to permit failure.
Based on the last six vintages (2021 back to 2016), this masterclass hosted by Stephan Reinhardt, together with Martha and Daniel Gantenbein, discusses the increasing challenges of nature as well as their viticulural responses to them. Because no matter what the year was like, the Gantenbein Pinot remains a reliable classic. Even in the future?
